Some 11 years after the demise of The Champion Story Paper, the Champion name returned in the form of a comic. Unfortunately, unlike its namesake, it wasn’t longlived, only surviving for fifteen issues before being consumed by a Lion on the 11th June 1966.
Champion first issue introduced ‘Jet Jordan’, ‘School for Spacemen’, Return of the Stormtroopers’ – Eric Bradbury and ‘When the Sky Turned Green’ by Carlos Cruz.
