The Chicks’ Own and Bo-Peep

During its long run, The Chicks’ Own  incorporated a number of other comics including Bo-Peep and Little Boy Blue in 1934, as well as Happy Days in 1939, and Bubbles in 1941.

The title eventually came to an end when it became the junior partner to Playhour on the March 16th 1957.

The undoubted star of The Chicks’ Own was ‘Rupert the Chick’ who successfully transitioned to Playhour.
