Cherry’s Alpine Schooldays

Not to be confused with The School Friend story paper which ran between 1929 and 1929. School Friend was a girl’s comic. The first issue included The Silent Three at St. Kitt’s, Gay Cavalier, Jill Crusoe, Denise and The Scarab Ring, Terry Brent – Detective and Dilly Dream.

One of the best loved storylines in the comic was Cherry’s Alpine Schooldays.

On May 25th 1963, the comic merged with Girl’s Crystal to become School Friend and Girl’s Crystal. The title finally came to an end on 23rd January 1965, when it was merged into June comic.
