The first Issue of School Fun comic was dated 15th October 1983 and came with a free gift of a ‘Slippy Sticky Snake’. Stories in the first issue were: ‘Softly Sir’, ‘Coronation Street School’, ‘Creepy Crawler’, ‘Time Bus’, ‘Walt Teaser’ ‘BeWare’, ‘Caretaker’, ‘Our Story Starts Here’, ‘ETT – Extra Terrestial Teacher’, ‘Grange Hill Juniors’, ‘Teachers United’, ‘Schoolditz, ‘Young Arthur’ and ‘School Belle’.
Following the publication of issue number 33, school was out forever with it merger with Buster dated 2nd June 1984.
