‘Monster Fun’ issue number one appeared on 14th June 1975 and included a free gift of a ‘ Free Plate Wobbler’. Stories in the first issue were Kid Kong, X-Ray Specs, Martha’s Monster Make-Up, Dough Nut and Rusty, Grizzly Bearhug Giant, Art’s Gallery, Draculass, Brainy and his Monster Maker, March of the Mighty Ones, Monster Hits, Major Jump, Creature Teacher Tom Thumbscrew, The Invisible Monster and Cinders.

‘Monster Fun’ ran for 73 issues, with the 30th October 1976 issue announcing ‘Important News Inside’. The following saw the first issue of ‘Buster and Monster Fun’ dated 6th November 1976.
