Following the success of ‘The Beano Comic’ and ‘The Dandy Comic’, DC Thomson launched a third comic called ‘The Magic Comic’. ‘Koko the Pup’, ‘Full of Tricks and Full of Fun – Koko is a Pal for Everyone’ The front cover star of first issue of Magic was ‘Koko the Pup’, ‘Full of Tricks and Full of Fun – Koko is a Pal for Everyone’ by EH Banger. Sooty Snowball Other stories in ‘The Magic Comic’ were ‘Dolly Dimple’ by Alan Morley, ‘Peter Piper’ by Dudley Watkins.’Beric the Cave-Boy’ – Walker, ‘Boy Biffo the Brave’ – Sam Fair, ‘Grandfather Clock’ – Alan Fraser, ‘Gulliver’ – Dudley Watkins, ‘Inky, Binky & Fluff’ – Harry Banger, ‘Lop Ears’ – James Clark, ‘Old Father Time’ – Sam Fair, ‘The Seven Foot Cowboy’ – James Walker, ‘Sooty Snowball’ and ‘The Tickler Twins’ – Robert MacGillivray.
