Zip comic was destined to last just 85 issues before joining Swift in the Eagle Stable (or should that be aviary). The First issue of Zip featured ‘Strongbow the Mighty’ by Ron Embleton, ‘Wells Fargo’ by Don Lawrence, ‘Tana the Jungle Boy’ by Harry Bishop, ‘Nicky Nobody’, and ‘Tom Tex’.
