The first issue of ‘Smash!’ comic included ‘Ronnie Rich,’ ‘Ghost Patrol,’ ”Bad Penny,’ ‘Percy’s Pets,’ ‘Brian’s Brain,’ ‘ Space Jinx,’ ‘The Nervs,’ ‘Queen of the Seas,’ ‘The Telly Bugs,’ ‘The Swots & The Blots,’ ‘Charlie’s Choice’ and ‘Grimly Feendish.’

As with the other Odham’s titles, the comic included a large number of Marvel reprints including ‘The Incredible Hulk’ and Batman.

The free gift with the first issue of Smash! comic was a toy gun.
