Rockfist Rogan
During its 33 year run which produced 1729 issues, ‘The Champion, The Tip Top Story Paper For Boys’, included Rockfist Rogan, Clint Morgan – Hunter of Grey Mask, Jet Jackson, Ginger Nutt, Colwyn Dane, Kalgan – The Jungle Boxer, Dixie Jim, Johnny Fleetfoot – The Redskin Winger, Kangaroo Kennedy, Punch McPhee, Trapper Pete and his Racing Huskies, and Danny of the Dazzlers.
During its time the story paper merged with its sister paper Triumph in 1942. The name ‘Champion’ returned in 1966 as a short lived comic that ran for 15 issues beofe merging with Lion comic.
